Booking & confirmation of wedding date - is not accepted or final until the booking fee of $1,000 and the signed Terms and Conditions are to hand. The booking fee is an administration fee, not a deposit and therefore is not refundable. The booking fee is deducted from the final wedding account.
Guest Numbers - minimum 60, (40 minimum nos. part Jun, all Aug, all Sept),maximum 120 (certain conditions apply -see Minimum Per Head Charges below)
Menu & Guest No. Confirmation - of menu and guest numbers are to be confirmed *14 days prior to the event. Full and final payment is due on the confirmed number of guests.
Payment - (food & hireage & minimum bar spend) to be settled 8 business days prior to the function; Wedding invoice to be settled manually or via internet into our account. (no credit card or cheques). Balance of bar account may be settled with credit card on the wedding day/night.
Timing - Hireage time to start one hour prior to ceremony starting. Maximum midnight finish.
Cleaning or Breakages - Undue soilageand fair and reasonable breakages or missing items will be charged for.
Pre ceremony, pre dinner, dinner music - supplied by Cassels as part of the package. You may bring your own CD's.
Ceremony Audio System - Clients Ceremony CD's recordings are to be of a high standard.
PLEASE NOTE: Dance Music
- DJ's & clients agree to using Cassels' in-house DJ company only - as part of the Celebration Package. (playlist available - all genre's catered for - you may bring your own accompanying CD's)
- Live bands at Cassels discretion.
Courtyard & Lower Garden - Plugged equipment allowed in consultation with Cassels management. No microphones in these areas. Soft level jazz type bands allowed in the courtyard. Bagpipes allowed in consultation. Cassels supply 26 seats for the ceremony.
Alcoholic beverages - No BYO alcohol/beverages. Minimum spend - $40 per head for alcohol/beverage. Alcohol to be consumed in restricted areas. Bar does not open prior to the ceremony unless requested prior to the day.
Cancellations - the booking fee is not refundable but is transferable to another wedding date (once only). Cancellation of a wedding within the *14 days prior to wedding dayte will incur a 50% payment of the full wedding invoice. Cancellations must be in writing.
Public Holidays (actual day - not weekend) - no weddings can be held on actual public holiday i.e. Xmas Day, Good Friday, Anzac Day.
Prices - hireage & menu quoted at time of booking stay firm up to the event. Any Government changes i.e. GST to be effected. Wine/Beverage list including minimum spend is subject to change without notice.
Children - 2years to 11years inclusive . Kiddy meals can be supplied $60ph.
Your Service Providers Meals - i.e. if you are wishing to provide a meal for your suppliers i.e. photographer, videographer then this must be paid for.
Wedding Confetti - Large fresh rose petals only.
Chair covers - fitting fee of $1.50 per chair. These are to be fitted by our table setters (not negiotable). Covers are to be on hand 24 hours prior to the day.
Minimum per head charges - 80 adult guests on Fridays & Saturdays in Jan/Feb/March.
Clients' & Guests Property & Vehicles - guests vehicles can be left overnight but must be collected by 11am the following day. Cassels will not be responsible for any loss or damage of clients' property while in or around the Cassels' property. Clients CD's to be collected within 7 days.
